ReTardis for Who
51. Argo (2012) - I can see why the Academy gave this film best picture, it was a very well, made, tense and thoughtful piece of entertainment. It annoys me that people criticize the film by saying, “Obviously they’re making this situation more dramatic than it actually was.” Well no kidding, you don’t say? I thought this was a documentary that Ben Affleck was making, not a movie, a piece of entertainment. Anyway, I really like Ben Affleck, as actor I find him good and at times great, this is probably my favorite performance of his in awhile. As a director though, he’s 100% great. All three films he directed are really good to great films. This wouldn’t have made my personal top ten from last year, but its a really well made political thriller and highly recommend it to anyone who hasn’t seen it yet.
